📦 How It Works

**1. Place your order.**
Provide the name, initials, wedding date, and/or short sentiment you'd like embroidered.

**2. Prepare your wedding dress fabric.**
Cut an approximately **10" × 10" square** from your wedding dress. A slightly larger piece is always welcome if you're unsure.

**3. Send the fabric to Johnson Heirloom.**
After ordering, you'll receive instructions for mailing your wedding dress fabric to us.

**4. We create your heirloom.**
Your fabric is carefully positioned, embroidered, and finished into an approximately 4" keepsake ornament with a coordinating hanging ribbon.

Any remaining usable wedding dress fabric you sent will be returned with your completed ornament.

✂️ Choosing Your Fabric

When selecting the piece to send, choose an area that represents the part of your dress you'd most like preserved.

If you'd like **lace, appliqué, beading, embroidery, or another decorative detail** featured on the ornament, make sure that detail is included within your approximately 10" square.

Please keep in mind that not every part of the 10" piece will appear in the finished 4" ornament. The extra fabric gives us room for embroidery placement, hooping, stabilization, positioning, and finishing.
