You will send four baby outfits to Johnson Heirloom.

Each outfit is assigned to one letter:

M — Outfit #1
A — Outfit #2
M — Outfit #3
A — Outfit #4

Unlike a patchwork design that mixes several garments within each letter, each MAMA letter is cut from one individual outfit so every letter represents its own special memory.

Your baby's original colors, prints, characters, florals, stripes, or other details become part of the finished design.

✨ Classic Appliqué MAMA Design

The front of your sweatshirt features MAMA in a tall collegiate/varsity-style appliqué with a flat bottom and gently arched top.

Each fabric letter is professionally appliquéd and finished with coordinating embroidery stitching to create a polished, durable keepsake.

Because every set of baby clothes is different, every MAMA sweatshirt will be completely one of a kind.

Add an embroidered EST. YEAR underneath MAMA to represent the year you became a mom.

🥰 Optional Children's Names Above the Sleeve Cuff

👶 What Baby Clothes Can I Send?

Onesies, bodysuits, T-shirts, pajamas, dresses, rompers and other lightweight baby or children's clothing can work beautifully.

For the best results, select four garments with enough usable fabric to cut one large appliqué letter from each.

Very tiny newborn garments, heavily embellished clothing, garments with large seams, or unusually small usable areas may not provide enough fabric for the full letter.

If you're unsure whether your clothing will work, contact Johnson Heirloom before sending it.

✂️ Please Don't Pre-Cut the Clothing

Send all four outfits intact.

This gives us the greatest flexibility to select the best area of each garment and position favorite prints or details within the letters whenever possible.

If there's a particular part of an outfit you'd love featured, let us know when ordering.

Please remember: your baby's clothing will be permanently cut to create the appliqué and cannot be returned to its original condition.

Any remaining usable portions of the clothing will be returned with your finished sweatshirt.

4. Send the four intact outfits to Johnson Heirloom using the instructions provided after purchase.

5. We create your sweatshirt, carefully turning each outfit into its own appliqué letter and adding your selected embroidery.
