This Chicken Parmesan is a classic comfort meal featuring crispy breaded chicken, rich marinara sauce, and melted mozzarella, served over pasta. Itβs hearty, flavorful, and perfect for family dinners!

Ingredients
For the chicken
- 2 large chicken breasts (halved or pounded thin)
- 1 cup breadcrumbs (Italian seasoned)
- Β½ cup grated parmesan cheese
- 2 eggs
- Β½ cup flour
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Β½ teaspoon salt
- Β½ teaspoon black pepper
- 2β3 tablespoons olive oil
For the sauce & pasta
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 8β10 oz spaghetti or pasta of choice
For topping
- 1β1Β½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- Fresh basil or parsley (optional)
Instructions
1. Cook the pasta
Boil pasta according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
2. Prepare the chicken
Set up a breading station:
- Bowl 1: flour
- Bowl 2: beaten eggs
- Bowl 3: breadcrumbs mixed with parmesan, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper
Dredge chicken in flour β dip in egg β coat in breadcrumb mixture.
3. Cook the chicken
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook chicken for 4β5 minutes per side until golden and cooked through.
4. Add sauce and cheese
Preheat oven to 375Β°F. Place cooked chicken in a baking dish.
Spoon marinara sauce over each piece and top with mozzarella cheese.
5. Bake
Bake for 15β20 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
6. Serve
Serve chicken over pasta and garnish with fresh basil or parsley.
