Sausage & Spinach Stuffed Shells š§šæ
These Sausage & Spinach Stuffed Shells are cheesy, hearty, and full of comforting flavor. Jumbo pasta shells are stuffed with savory sausage, creamy ricotta, spinach, and topped with marinara and melted cheese.

Ingredients
For the shells
- 20ā24 jumbo pasta shells
- 1 lb Italian sausage
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup grated parmesan cheese
- 2 cups fresh spinach, chopped
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
For the sauce
- 2 cups marinara sauce
For topping
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- Fresh parsley (optional)
Instructions
1. Preheat oven
Preheat oven to 375°F.
2. Cook the shells
Boil jumbo shells according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
3. Cook the sausage
In a skillet over medium heat, cook sausage until browned. Drain excess grease and let cool slightly.
4. Make the filling
In a large bowl, mix ricotta, mozzarella, parmesan, spinach, egg, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Stir in cooked sausage.
5. Fill the shells
Spread marinara sauce on the bottom of a greased baking dish.
Stuff each shell with the sausage mixture and place in the dish.
6. Add sauce & cheese
Spoon remaining marinara over the shells and sprinkle with mozzarella cheese.
7. Bake
Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes.
Remove foil and bake another 10 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
8. Serve
Top with fresh parsley if desired and serve warm.
