Slow Cooker Beef & Gravy Over Mashed Potatoes 🥩🥔
This easy slow cooker beef and gravy recipe creates tender, flavorful beef in a rich savory gravy. Served over creamy mashed potatoes, it’s the ultimate comfort meal with only a few simple ingredients.

Ingredients

2 lbs beef stew meat, cut into cubes

1 packet onion soup mix

1 packet ranch seasoning mix

1 packet au jus gravy mix

½ cup water or beef broth

1 stick unsalted butter

4–6 cups mashed potatoes (prepared)
Instructions
1. Add the beef
Place the cubed beef stew meat into the bottom of a slow cooker.
2. Add seasonings
Sprinkle the onion soup mix, ranch seasoning, and au jus gravy mix evenly over the beef.
3. Add liquid
Pour in ½ cup water or beef broth.
4. Add butter
Place the stick of butter on top of the meat and seasonings.
5. Slow cook
Cover and cook on LOW for 7–8 hours or HIGH for 4–5 hours until the beef is tender and the gravy has formed.
6. Stir and shred
Stir the beef and gravy mixture well. The meat will be very tender and can easily be shredded with a fork.
7. Serve
Spoon the beef and gravy over warm mashed potatoes.
